The Rotary Club of Owego held its semi-annual road cleanup on Saturday, April 18. Thirteen Rotarians picked up broken bottles, cans, syringes, negatives, signs, diapers, and other items from the area of Route 434 near the Court Street Bridge.

The Owego Rotary Club has participated in the Adopt-A-Highway Program for 24 years by cleaning this area of Route 434 in the spring and fall. This year Binghamton University (BU) alumni who were participating in BU’s Global Day of Caring and who worked to cleanup the Owego Riverwalk joined Rotary Club members.
