Maddie’s Meadows Pet of the Week for the week of April 26, 2015

Maddie’s Meadows Pet of the WeekThis handsome boy is Blackie. I know that people shy away from black cats but this big boy really wants to find a family of his own. You can only have so many alpha male cats in your house at once.

He is neutered and had his rabies shot. Blackie probably will not get along with any other males. He desires to be alpha, however he does show some tolerance, if not interest in the females.

Blackie does play rough with people. He would not be good in a home with children. He is learning that being rough is not okay, but I wouldn’t risk it. Blackie is lonely and is hoping for a kind person who has time and some cat savy, and would recognize the body language of a cat that is getting over stimulated and would know how to deal with him.

If you are an experienced cat person and are interested in this wonderful cat, call Nancy at 768-6575. If you are interested in donating to help out the kitties, address your checks to Maddie’s Meadows, P.O. Box 445, Owego, N.Y. 13827.

If you can donate food, call Nancy at the aforementioned number.
