The Tioga Arts Council (TAC) is now accepting applications to the En Plein Air Art Sale and Garden Walk. This unique event, organized in partnership with the Tioga County Master Gardener Program of Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE), transforms the porches, lawns, and gardens of the historic homes in downtown Owego, N.Y. into outdoor art galleries.
Now in its 28th year, this event is designed to highlight the talents of artists in and around Tioga County, to underscore the beauty of our community, and to facilitate a meaningful connection between artists and their supporters.
Entries must be postmarked by May 18, 2015. Entry forms are available online at www.tiogaartscouncil.org/en-plein-air-art-sale-garden-walk or at the Tioga Arts Council.
Submissions may be sent digitally to tiogaartscouncil@gmail.com or mailed/delivered to Tioga Arts Council, 179 Front St., Owego, N.Y. 13827. All works must be original creations by the artist and available for purchase.
A completed, signed entry form and the $30 non-refundable entry fee ($20 for TAC Members) must accompany each entry. All forms of media are accepted.
TAC is open Mondays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
