On April 18, the Boys and Girls Club of Tioga will be hosting the Super Run at Hickories Park in Owego, N.Y. The Super Run is a competitive 5k event that participants register for online for a set fee of $40.00.
The fee includes an official super hero cape, silicon bracelet, temporary tattoos and more. This is a run, and an interactive event for everyone of all ages. There will also be a 1-mile fun run; there is no cost for this option of the event. The event also includes a resource area to provide kid friendly activities and accept donations.
The Super Run is a national series of events that partners with non-profit organizations to put on superhero themed events to help raise funds and awareness for their cause. The Boys and Girls Club of Tioga has partnered with The Super Run to raise funds that will support social programs for all youth members.
