The Golf for Guthrie Hospice committee has announced the date for the area’s premier golf tournament. The 2015 tournament will be held Friday, June 19 at The Club at Shepard Hills in Waverly, N.Y.
The Golf for Guthrie Hospice committee is seeking both business and individual sponsorships for its 12th annual tournament.
Since its inception in 2003, the tournament has raised more than $310,000. All proceeds benefit Guthrie Hospice, which provides end-of-life services for patients throughout the region – regardless of ability to pay – and offers bereavement services in the community.
Long-time tournament supporters Williams Auto Group (Title Sponsor), Keck’s Food Service, Inc. (Banquet Sponsor), The Star Gazette Fund and the Manning & Napier Foundation (Awards Sponsors) and The Sayre American Legion Post 283 (Registration Sponsor) will serve as this year’s major sponsors.
However, a wide variety of sponsorship opportunities remain available, including: Presenting sponsors, Hospice Caring sponsors, Friends of Hospice sponsors, and Beverage cart, hole signs and raffle prize sponsors.
Sponsorships are available in many dollar amounts or as in-kind donations. Gifts in memory of a loved one are also accepted. Sponsors receive a range of benefits depending on sponsorship level, including the opportunity to field a foursome in the tournament, inclusion in the event program, and raffle tickets.
