EPIC program presentation planned

EPIC, the State-sponsored prescription program, will have a representative at Tioga Opportunities Inc.’s Department of Aging (9 Sheldon Guile Blvd., Owego) on Monday, March 23 at 1 p.m.

EPIC helps eligible older adults save on the cost of their prescription drugs. To be eligible for EPIC, a person must be a New York resident, be over the age of 65, have an annual income of $75,000 or less for a single person (or $100,000 or less for a married couple), and be eligible to enroll in a Medicare Part D Plan as their primary prescription coverage.

This is your chance to receive an update on the recent EPIC program changes, find out how EPIC and Medicare Part D plans work together to save you money, answer any questions you have, or enroll in the EPIC program.

Seniors are encouraged to bring income documentation if enrolling in the program. To RSVP, please call Arline Wales at (607) 687-4120, ext. 344.
