The Candor Historical Society will hold the first meeting of the year on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 7 p.m. at the Candor Town Hall.
In March 2008, the Candor Historical Society program for the evening was a very informative talk given by well-known and long-time Candor resident, Jim Roberts. The talk focused on Jim’s life growing up as a foster child on the Corsen farm.
Tragically, Jim lost his life in a house fire in September 2013, so they were not able to get a continuation of his story, but they do have a video recording of his talk. For this Historical Society meeting the program will be a showing of this video.
Come out and reminisce with them as they fondly remember the interesting and humorous person that Jim was. The program is free and open to the public; refreshments will be served.
