Dear Editor,
As a resident of Owego for 40 years I have seen and heard a lot of behind the scenes politics going on in Owego. The current Village Board is being accused of not going with the flow and passing everything that is put in front of them.
They are looking for the best options that will help the taxpayers in the long run and not jump in and pass what is put in front of them and let the next administration worry about it.
There has been a lot of controversy with the Fire Department, and because they sorted through what was in front of them we still live. The Police Department is in the same boat, let them sort through what is in front of them and make the right decision that will benefit the taxpayers of Owego.
Being a Village Trustee is a very tough position and takes a lot of hard work and patience. That is why I am endorsing Ann Lockwood for 3rd Ward Trustee for the Village of Owego.
Ann works hard and makes the right decision on tough issues. Please join me on March 18 and re-elect Ann Lockwood for 3rd Ward Trustee.
