The Red-Raspberry Sparklers and Beebe’s Bonnets, Two Red Hat Society groups, recently hosted a Craft/Variety and Bake Sale along with a Free Book Exchange at the Lockwood Fire Hall.

They send a warm thank you out to all who came to “Help Us Help Others” as a portion of the proceeds fund their monthly Friendship Basket. Their fundraisers for the Friendship Basket have enabled them to send money to two organizations: Second Wind Cottages located near Ithaca, N.Y. and The Open Door Mission in Owego, N.Y. for The Lockwood Food Pantry located in the Lockwood Methodist Church Annex. Three private individuals have also benefited with a surprise Friendship Basket check to simply brighten their day.
