Register online for Owego Little League

Register online for the 64th season of Owego Little League (OLL) Baseball and Tee Ball and Girls Softball and Teener League Baseball.

What’s new this year is four-year-olds can sign up for Tee Ball for the first time.

Sign Up using the OLL website at www.eteamz.com/owego. On the main page, under 2015 Sign Ups – Now Open, click on the blue address link to register and follow the instructions.

OLL Player Agent Eric Hawkins at ehawkins1@stny.rr.com will address any computer sign up issues and check to see if your registration went through.

Sign Ups in person will be held at the Tioga County Boys and Girls Club from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on two Thursdays, Feb. 5 and 12.

There is no registration fee for the 2015 season of OLL Baseball, Tee Ball and Softball.

Attendance from all Owego and Apalachin Little League and Teener League Players age 14 and under is encouraged for the Owego Free Academy Baseball Coaches and Varsity Players Winter Clinic from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, at the OFA High School gym. Register at www.eteamz.com/owego.

Players will be broken up into age groups. Kids need to dress in baseball attire. Bring gloves and bats. OLL will have bats for those who don’t have one.

VP Teener Baseball Jim Lavo urges parents and coaches to observe what and how the players are being instructed.

Teaching the players are experienced OFA coaches and players. Parent observation is very important to learn tips on how to help their child. Coaches, both new and experienced, learn valuable techniques on how to instruct a team.

Registration is a time for parents to indicate their willingness to help umpire, manage, coach, work in the concession stand, do field work, carpentry, plumbing, computers, etc. Such information is very useful later in the season, and is a great way to bring in new volunteers to the OLL Family.
