Catholic Charities Tompkins/Tioga, Tioga Outreach Center can help with SNAP (Food Stamp) applications through the help of Catholic Charities USA and The Walmart Foundation.
They are offering a free box of cookies/graham crackers for every person who applies for SNAP through them or refers someone to sign up for SNAP at Catholic Charities. The box of cookies contains 100 smaller packages of cookies or you can receive a box of 200 packages of graham crackers (two crackers each).
This offer is on a limited basis, but other offers may be available in the future. A prescreen to see if you may be eligible takes about one minute.

Catholic Charities also has a food pantry for all of Tioga County residents and can offer a three-day food supply once a month to households. They also have a clothing closet and can help with eviction notices and heat/electric shutoffs on a limited basis.
