Dear Editor,
In regards to Police aggressively treating citizens, I see the issue differently. I raised my children to respect authority. In fact I told them if they got in trouble they would have double trouble when they got home.
The recent documented problems showed citizens challenging, not respecting authority and unexpected consequences happened. In my mind this is a society issue.
We live in a country of laws. They and their enforcers should be respected or we will become a riot controlled broken country.
When our President and Attorney General, with news support, continue to break our laws they pave this riot path. A wise person said, “One knows who a person is not by their words but by their actions“.
These leaders have actions and history of attacking our country and do not deserve these high level positions in it.
Teach our youth to respect not threaten our police and the laws they enforce.
