I would like to inform the people of the U.S. 23rd Congressional District that a representative from Congressman Tom Reed’s Corning office is in the conference room at the Tioga County Office Building, 56 Main Street, Owego, N.Y. on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, contact Congressman Reed’s Corning office at (607) 654-7566.
Also, a representative from New York’s 124th District, Assemblyman Christopher Friend’s Big Flats office is in the conference room at the Tioga County Office Building on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The representative is also at the Waverly Village Hall, 32 Ithaca St., Waverly, N.Y. on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information contact Assemblyman Friend’s Big Flats office at (607) 562-3602.
I urge all residents to take advantage of these opportunities to discuss any issues they may have with the federal and/or state governments. I find the representatives willing to listen and respond to any problems or concerns one may have.
