On Dec. 18, 2014 at 10:34 p.m., the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office responded to Dutchtown Road in the Town of Owego, N.Y. for a report of a serious one car motor vehicle accident.
Upon arrival, deputies determined the operator, the sole occupant, was deceased. The Operator was identified at 19-year-old Makayla M. Vandusen.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office as assisted at the scene by the Newark Valley Fire Department and EMS.
