The wicked far outnumber the righteous

Dear Editor,

“The law has become paralyzed, and there is no justice in the courts. The wicked far outnumber the righteous, so that justice has become perverted.” Hab. 1:4

We have become this prophecy. Once we were a nation of laws created by men who lived under tyranny while longing to be free. They were men who knew that God was the author of freedom and that where His Spirit is there is liberty. They risked their all for the prospect of forming a nation where all men could be free and where justice would be blind and equal toward all.

Today we are a nation of men who never lost a drop of blood or risked lives and fortunes for this nation. All they have done is lied to the people and sold their souls to buy the favor of the elite to gain a position of power with a future of luxury paid for by the sweat of those they now rule over with impunity.

We are now a nation of men above the law who oppress the poor and punish the working man. They have perverted the system of justice that once made us a great nation and they have stolen the hope of future generations by building their own personal wealth.

The Lord will not allow them to enter His rest and for every act they took to undermine this republic they will suffer shame and those they have murdered will see justice. God will destroy those who harm the innocent and He will repay the wicked rulers who abuse His people.

They may seem to be winning but they will reap what they sow.

I join the Psalmist in asking that God would destroy the wicked and expose their corruption. That He would make an open show of their demise and bring shame on them. That the wealth they have acquired through their treasonous actions would be returned to the people they deceived. And that the future they relied on would be seen by them from behind the bars of a prison they built to punish those who dared resist their oppressive laws.

May we once again be a nation of laws and justice is blind and equal for all. A land where the Spirit of the Living God is once again welcome and liberty is know by all. May we once again be a nation that blesses God.

Sincerely,
