Women’s Fund helps with personal needs supplies

A grant from The Women’s Fund of the Community Foundation for South Central New York donates to help low-income female head of households with children and girls in the YES program at the Newark Valley School District through Catholic Charities Tompkins/Tioga.

Catholic Charities Tompkins/Tioga was recently awarded a grant to establish a program to help women and girls with personal supply needs. This program will help low-income female head of households with children and girls in the YES program at the Newark Valley School District.

Tioga Outreach Center serves Tioga County with a food pantry, clothing closet, emergency financial assistance, and food stamp application assistance.

This personal supply needs program was made possible by a grant from The Women’s Fund of the Community Foundation for South Central New York.
