The Department of New York American Legion Family visitation for Tioga County has been scheduled for Monday, Nov. 3, with American Legion Commander Frank Peters, American Legion Auxiliary President Diane Gerber, and the Sons of the American Legion Commander Depo attending.
At 10 a.m., the group will visit Wright-Edsall Post #1624, 1 Dean St., Nichols;
11 a.m. at Tioga Downs located on West River Road in Nichols; 1 p.m. lunch at Tioga Post #401, 263 Front St., Owego; 2:30 p.m. free time to check into hotel, tour the Owego shops, and go back to Tioga Downs; 5:30 p.m. cash bar reception at Arden Kelsey Post 907, 90 Spencer Rd., Candor; and a 6 p.m. dinner with a fresh fruit cup, Chicken Cacciatore, Swedish Meatballs, green beans, rice, and dessert for $13.
