Even though Ice Cream Works! is closed for the season, they are continuing to honor family and the building’s history, as well as promote family oriented activities in the community.
Ice Cream Works! is located in the former Kies Bottling Works. Selover Kies was known for his generosity and community spirit. Every Halloween, he gave soda to local children from his bottling works.
To keep with the tradition, Ice Cream Works! will be handing out a free small hard ice cream to any costumed child on Halloween night from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
