LG&T Partner to speak on energy issues at Texas State Bar Law Course

Scott Kurkoski, a partner with Levene Gouldin and Thompson, will be a speaker at the Texas State Bar Association’s 32nd Annual Advanced Oil, Gas, and Energy Resources Law Course.

Kurkoski will give a presentation that will discuss issues attorneys may encounter when dealing with Municipal Home Rule and Zoning regulations in states with oil and gas development.

Kurkoski is the Chair of Levene Gouldin and Thompson’s Oil & Gas Practice Group. Attorneys from that group have recently completed a variety of engagements, speaking on behalf of the firm’s resources for clients involved in the energy industry.

Established in 1938 as the “Natural Resources Section,” the Oil, Gas and Energy Resources Law Section is the oldest section of the State Bar of Texas, with more than 3,000 members.
Levene Gouldin & Thompson provides legal services to clients from offices located in Binghamton, Vestal, Deposit, Whitney Point, Ithaca and Spencer, N.Y. and Athens, Pa.
