Gallery 41 to participate in the Oct. 4 ‘Women on the Move’

The Susquehanna Chapter of NYS Women is thrilled to share the wonders of Owego with all participants at their October Board meeting, planned for Oct. 3 through Oct. 5 at the Owego Treadway Inn and Conference Center. A special event has been planned for Saturday evening, Oct. 4.

The Susquehanna Chapter’s goal this year is to promote local women in business. They are inviting all October Board meeting participants to participate in a fun event that will introduce all to the charms of Owego’s women in business.

The “Women On The Move” event will take on place Saturday, Oct. 4 starting at 3 p.m. and ending at 10 p.m. You can sign up to participate in the “Women On The Move” event at the registration table at the Treadway Inn and Conference Center.

The cost to participate is a $1.00 donation that will go to both the Grace LeGendre fund and CDO fund. Attendees will be given a list of participating women owned businesses to visit for shopping, curiosity and meals.

Participating businesses, to include Gallery 41 on Lake St. in Owego, N.Y. will display a “Women on the Move” poster. Simply go into the village of Owego, pick up proof of your visit to each participating business, and bring it back to the “Women on the Move” table by 10 p.m. on Saturday night.

It is hoped that everyone attending the October Board meeting will participate in this fun event.
