In a recent article, entitled, Owego Rotary Club awards scholarships, an incorrect photo for Eleni Riechers was submitted with the release. Pictured, is the photo of Eline Riechers.
Eleni Riechers, from the Newark Valley High School, was awarded a $1,000 Rotary Club scholarship at her school’s commencement exercises. She has volunteered extensively in her community, been a dance instructor since 2008 and is a member of the National Honor Society. Riechers plans to attend Elmira College this fall.
Also awarded was Owego Free Academy student Michael Yanchus.
