Candor Historical Society’s topic to be Bread of Life Pantry

The Candor Historical Society will hold their next meeting on Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. at the Candor Town Hall.

The Bread of Life Food Pantry is one of Candor’s most popular and beneficial programs, and is the topic of the Historical Society’s September meeting.

Sherry Haner, one of the prime organizers and promoter of this program for the past several years, will speak about the mission of the Bread of Life Food Pantry, and how and why it got started, how it is doing currently, and what its future looks like.

The Bread of Life Food Pantry resides in the historic Coal Barn in the Village of Candor, and as part of the program, Candor Historian Carol Henry will present a brief history of the building.
The Historical Society’s meetings are always free and open to the public, and all are invited to attend and become informed about this important service.
