Last chance for Berkshire Free Library’s book sale will be at the annual Richford Potato Festival, Saturday, Sept. 20. Stock up on reading for the winter with a $4.00 bag sale! Or, buy four items of the same price and get one of that price free.
While at the Festival enjoy a pancake breakfast, potato donuts, or lunch featuring potato salad and soup. Magic, balloon animals and games, as well as the annual little Mr. and Miss pageant are planned for the event.
Sign up for the mashed potato-eating contest. Learn about birds and potatoes with Cornell professors. Build a birdhouse. And top it off with a yummy cone of sweet potato ice cream or the famous taters and cream.
