St. Patrick’s Fall Festival adds fun event

St. Patrick School is pleased to announce a new event has been added to its Fall Festival taking place this Friday and Saturday, September 19 and 20.

A dunk tank has been acquired and willing participants include “celebrities” of St. Patrick School, including Principal Paula Smith and Father Brian Carpenter.  The tank will be open Saturday only, and potential “dunkers” will have three tries to get the “dunk-ee” wet.

This is in addition to the carnival games, haunted house, bounce house, food, drink, dessert, shopping and live entertainment going on throughout the weekend.

The entertainment kicks off Friday at 7:00 p.m. with Band of Strings, followed at 8:30 by The Falconers. Saturday’s live entertainment begins at 11:00 a.m. with Trace of Grace, followed by Brooke Albright at 1:00 p.m., Jack Breidenstein at 2:00 p.m., New Day at 3:00 p.m., Daphne Braden at 5:30 p.m., Ultra Vibe at 7:00 p.m., and wrapping up the weekend is Making the Band at 8:30 p.m.

Luminaries for the luminary memorial service at 6:45 p.m. Friday are available for purchase at the school this week. The cost is $6.00 each, three for $15.00, or six for $30.00.

Buy the Book seeks donations of new and used books, DVD’s and CD’s, which can be dropped off at the school. Irish Alley Treasures is seeking items one would find in a yard sale. Items can be dropped off this week at St. Patrick Church hall, 300 Main St., between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. No clothing, shoes, linens, curtains, pillows or blankets, please.
