The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a special Centennial Gala Celebration at Tioga Downs Casino Resort on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 6 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
The celebratory event features a full course dinner including a complimentary champagne toast, a historical look into the past, as well as entertainment and dancing.

Originally incorporated June 4, 1919 as the Owego Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber Centennial Gala will be a commemoration of its accomplishments, members, and supporters. The Tioga Chamber of Commerce is a local organization of businesses seeking to further collective business interests while improving the community. They are a member-led civic and economic advancement organization governed by an elected board of directors.
Monthly meetings and other special events provide business-to-business networking, visibility, and resources for Tioga County business leaders. Their mission is to be a catalyst in the support and promotion of the commercial and civic well being of Tioga County.
As part of the Gala, they would like to recreate a centennial timeline. Unfortunately, much of their historical documentation has been lost or damaged. In order to showcase how they have worked toward their mission during the last 100 years, they ask for your assistance in compiling any Chamber information or details that business or community members are willing to share.
