Stray Haven Pet of the Week for the week of Dec. 17, 2017

Meet Snickers, a one year and four month old spayed, domestic short hair tabby, that is also up-to-date on her vaccinations.

Snickers is a pretty special girl – she is blind and deaf, possibly due to a non-progressive, non-contagious condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH).

But she doesn’t let that slow her down! Snickers can navigate quite well using her whiskers as a guide.

She loves people, though it’s best if you let her sniff your hand before you start petting her.

If you have room in your home for a beautiful special needs cat, contact Stray Haven about adopting Snickers!

Visit Snickers at Stray Haven Humane Society and SPCA, 194 Shepard Rd. in Waverly on Tuesday and Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
