Ken Schneider of Newark Valley was presented the Wright Brothers “Master Pilot” Award on Saturday, Oct. 14. Carl Kohl, FAA FSDO office manager and Bill Abbott, FAA aviation safety program manager came from Rochester, N.Y. to present the award, which recognizes 50 years of dedicated service to aviation safety. Steve D’Urso, FAA safety inspector from Phoenix, Arizona arranged the luncheon and ceremony in Newark Valley, which was attended by approximately 40 people.
