There is hope, a great deal of hope. I had reason to take an extensive trip in rural Pennsylvania yesterday. I was blown away at the number of Trump signs in yards, AND NOT ONE HILLARY sign. Those people get it! I believe Trump owns the rural vote, I’ll bet in most states. You know, fly-over country inhabited by “bitter clingers who cling to their Bible and their gun!”

Watching Donald Trump’s latest performance clearly sent the rubes of Tioga County over the moon judging by their traffic signal nasal probing this week.

~

Attention: Tioga Central School taxpayers, check the website at Tiogacentral.org. The administration at Tioga has made Tioga Elementary have two principals. Is the workload of elementary school that hard? Is this our good ole boy system at work again? How many students can the school have in total? How can this be cost effective? Is someone not doing their job, and just collecting a big paycheck? The taxpayers are being duped again.

We all have to get out and vote in November. This time around we must vote a straight ticket from the president on down or we will have four more years of gridlock like we have had for the last eight years. Congress surely was against Obama because of his race – no doubt about it. It will be the same thing if the president is from one party and the House and Senate are controlled by the other party. Sad but true, most of those in Washington are there for them not us OR the U.S.

A tip of the hat to two submittals to the Oct. 9 column. One questioned the sanity of people voting for Trump. The other suggested a lack of education played a big role in Trump’s strong showing to date. Both very plausible explanations!

Interesting, the look on Hillary’s face when Trump told her he would appoint a special counsel to get the truth behind the Clinton Foundation, and all the rest of the shenanigans the Clintons are known for. She was not a happy camper! Kinda tells you there IS corruption there, as it is everywhere the Clintons are and everything they do. Cool! You go Trump. Exactly what’s needed!

No, Donald, men don’t talk like that in a locker room. Men talk like that in the dementia ward of a nursing home.

My oh my, how Hillary’s opinions have changed. She was blaming a 12-year old rape victim for getting raped when she worked as an attorney for the 42-year old rapist. She dismissed Juanita Broaddrick, who accused Hillary’s husband of raping her as a bimbo eruption. Even Paula Jones, who won a court case against Bill Clinton for exposing his privates, got no sympathy from Hillary. Kathleen Willey wrote a book on how Hillary came after her, when she reported a sexual assault by Hillary’s husband. Now Hillary is holier than Thou, criticizing the salty, bragging speech by Trump, and ignoring actual acts perpetrated by her husband.

There are many people who identify themselves as strict constructionists when it comes to interpreting the Constitution. Those people feel that the there should be a literal and narrow definition of the various concepts and articles. My question is this: do you interpret the Constitution of 1787 or the Constitution of 1791 with the Bill of Rights added or the current Constitution, which has 27 amendments? Inquiring minds want to know.

Columbus Day is a thing of the past. It is whatever day will give us a 3-day weekend. At some point we will probably do away with all the holidays and make for longer weekends, but I’ll bet they will still hold to stores being opened 365 days a years for shopping and after that, history will be lost forever. Nice going world!

Trump’s latest comments regarding women are certainly deplorable and in keeping with his general personality, but lets not forget about all the other womanizers we have had in the Oval Office.

I’d like to give a “shout out” to Fortunato’s in Newark Valley for so generously providing the baked ziti dinner for the Newark Valley High School Open House. Thank you also, to the students and staff preparing and serving the families that attended. There was a warm feeling throughout the night. Cardinal Pride alive and well!

If you are in the military and are under attack do you call the State Department for help? Is the Secretary of State anywhere in your chain of command? If the Secretary of State calls the military for help and they cannot respond adequately why would you think it was the Secretary of State’s fault? Only through irrational thought.

On Friday, Oct. 7, the press has an article saying that with the Enhanced STAR program, that owners over 65 with an income of less than 86K and a house tax credit of $65,300 that they owe no tax. We are way under the income and our house is valued at a little over 66K, so I do not understand a tax of almost $500 if the school tax rate and library is $27.38 per thousand.

Found on Oct. 7, keys on the end of the guardrail by Miller Beach Road. The key fob says “Smith Cooperstown, Inc.” There are three separate keys on key ring, and two separate Ford car / truck keys on key ring. Please respond to this column.

Common Core: The problem is not Common Core, it is the CONTRACT between NYSED and Questar Assessment of Apple Valley, Minn. It is 826 pages. The simple solution would be, for the parties to agree to terminate the CONTRACT NOW. After nearly six years of the Common Core experience, we are left with confusion. An 826 page CONTRACT is not the answer. The New York State Board of Regents meets Oct. 18 and 19. An email to the Chancellor suggesting considering termination of the CONTRACT would be constructive and respectful. E-mail RegentsOffice@nysed.gov. You may also communicate the suggestion to the Commissioner of NYSED – Couldn’t locate an e-mail address.

What did the Donald do with his wife? Did he get rid of her? What the hell did he do with her? That’s funny when the president to be or some kind of nut got rid of the most important woman of his life, what’s he going to do with us? Think about it.

Hillary is recommending a single payer health insurance. I don’t think she realizes the single player plan is nothing more than a taxpayer funded plan.

Just announced that two full boxes of Hillary’s printed emails are missing. What is this woman hiding? I hope the investigation continues every day until everything is out in the open. The truth is owed to the American people. I don’t know how Hillary sleeps at night. Must be she truly has no conscience.

The Owego Heights Trailer park’s posted sign reads 10 mph, and we, the families that live here, are very thankful for this notice to the tenants and visitors and ask that this sign of 10 mph be respected and useful in keeping our streets safe for everyone. Big thanks for keeping us safe by obeying the signs.

After all this deal just came out with Donald Trump targeting women the way he is, the only real woman in his life was Marla Maples. She took the baby and left. She didn’t wait and wanted just the money and attention, and that’s all they got out of Donald Trump.

Tim Kaine, Hillary’s running mate, has a son in the United States Marine Corp. I wonder how he, Tim Kaine, would feel about Hillary if his son were one of the marines that was killed in Benghazi because of Hillary’s incompetence. She is no leader, vote for Trump.

Congratulations to the Newark Valley Varsity football team. Great season guys, you’re doing a super job! Maybe the schedule will allow a game against Maine Endwell.

To the reader who wanted to know about this paper. We are in Republican territory and this paper caters to them. I called in early last week but didn’t get in. You had to get all the Republican digs in. Now to my comment you left out last week. To the Veterans and anybody with a brain, how do you like Mr. Trump now? You serve in the service, and tour maybe one, two or three times and you come back military broken. Trump says you’re not strong if you can’t handle it. You can defend your country and protect cowards like him but you’re weak. Kind of like his shot at McCain. Don’t forget he went to a military high school and had it rough. He compares that to the service. By the way, Trump is the deplorable one after last week.

Tax returns, beauty queens, political correctness, racist and bigotry, sex scandals, emails, mud slinging, immigrants, economy and he said she said. Everybody fiddles while Rome burns. What if the next pressure cooker bomb is nuclear? Remember Tokyo and Hiroshima? Millions dead in a flash. Unite America, vote for Trump. He may have a big mouth but he does have big ideas for America.

Round two of the Presidential Debates showed Hillary for the real liar that she is. The moderators did a pretty fair job, although they favored Hillary. The best thing about the whole debate was that Donald Trump was controlled and logical and that prevented Hillary’s stupid smile. Vote Trump.

I counted 84 sniffs from sniffer Trump and a couple of snorts and a whistle wheeze.

Senator John McCain has been acting senator for Arizona for many years. He has been on the Armed Service committee for many years. The Arizona Veterans Administration had problems for many years and still does to this day. If McCain is such a great Veteran and person why doesn’t he take care of Arizona’s Veteran problems? He doesn’t really care, he is another all talk no action.

Donald Trump was super in the last debate. He exposed many of Hillary’s lies, failed plans and her corruption. She tried her best to find things she accomplished in the last two decades and she came up short. I would rather have a president who makes mistakes, admits them and apologizes than have Hillary Clinton’s cold-hearted corrupt ways ruining America. I am a woman and I am going to vote with confidence for Donald Trump.

House Speaker Paul Ryan, we, the deplorables, do not care if you are on the Trump wagon. That is all.

I’m sure if Bill Clinton had any affairs with those women Donald Trump dreamt up, it sure had to be he was drunker than a skunk or higher than a kite because they sure as hell were nothing to look at! He had to be blind.

Yet another person campaigning for Hillary. It’s just announced she’s pulling in Al Gore to campaign for her. It’s so obvious she can’t do this alone. She needs all the help she can get.

If the Republican leader elites will not support Trump because of some crude locker room man talk then they should consider that putting Hillary in the White House will also put reprobate Bill Clinton in the White House too. The Republican elite leaders should be given a strong exit because they are republicrats. They favor big business and open borders for cheap labor just like the Democrats do. We need a new third party which I hope Trump implements after taking office. Go Trump!

Thank you Donald Trump for having courage and merit for exposing the Clintons for what they are and for the corrupt things that they have done. You ran the debate like the strong leader that you are and that’s what I want for my president. We deplorables expose the immortals.

I heard the Republican and Democrat debate the other night and was told by a certain person on the stage that was head of the Republican Party that if you are a star you can get away with anything, there are no rules. You can touch anybody, you can do anything you want and it just keeps getting deeper and deeper. Well, if he’s that bad now can you imagine if he was our commander in chief and the president of this country. He will say I can do anything I want, that the country can’t stop me because we have a better military. That’s a serious scenario to put a man with that kind of irrational thinking in charge of anything. He’s nothing but a spoiled rich SOB, simple as that.

I’d just like to leave a message for the Town of Owego taxpayers. They’ve got the superintendent of highway and the deputy both off; I don’t know what they’re doing. They’ve got the foreman running things, the same guy that checks the roads for the boss in the winter at time and a half!

How about those new bumper stickers saying Trump is Toast.

Is Congressman Tom Reed, the Republican, ever going to come out of Donald Trump’s locker room?

Are you kidding? Last week’s caller wants me to vote Hillary? As the WikiLeaks continue, it’s so evident of her constant lies. She has double standards and thinks she is above the law. Everything surrounding her is rigged. Now the latest email leaks has her bashing Angelicas and Catholicism. I say this is a demonstration of bigotry and I am appalled. She stops at nothing to better herself and fellow elitists. She truly has contempt for the American people. Now it’s being reported she has arrhythmia and a leaking heart valve. Certainly don’t want Kaine running this country. Trump is the only person who can fix this country’s mess that was brought on by Obama and Hillary. Go Trump!

It may surprise you President Lincoln did not free the slaves. President Lincoln wrote the Emancipation Proclamation. The slaves were freed by an act of congress, which amended the constitution. I ought to know because I’m the dirty rebel that held John Wilkes Booth’s sword. So there!

How many illegal loans to Republican Donald Trump is Russia forgiving so that Trump can continue to be the preeminent Putin stooge?

I hear scary clowns are threatening kids throughout the country. After watching the presidential debate I decided the two presidential candidates we have to vote for are the scariest clowns in the U.S.A.

A 12-year-old girl was raped and beaten and left for dead. Hillary Clinton defended the accused man and got him off with no punishment. She admitted all along she knew the man was guilty and there are tape recordings to prove it. She didn’t even deny it when Trump brought it up in the debates. This event ruined the girl’s life forever, yet Hillary is the champion of women’s rights and rape victims, isn’t she. She will do anything for personal gain. What if that girl was your daughter?

I would like to share some comments with the Pennysaver readers. Let’s start with Paul Ryan, Speaker of the House back in the primaries. Every time Donald Trump said or did something Paul Ryan didn’t like, I think Paul Ryan was like a little child. He didn’t want to play with Donald Trump anymore. He’d pack up his little bag of goodies and go home. When Donald Trump was doing really well, then back out Paul Ryan comes and wants to play again. After the video over the weekend I highly support Trump and I don’t believe he did it, and I honestly believe Trump does respect women. Make up your own mind on that one because I have some other talking points. The debates, what do the Republicans and the Democrats think about the questions at the debate being fed to Hillary Clinton? She knew what she was going to be asked. At the last debate she made a comment regarding Donald Trump’s American people wouldn’t feel like they fit. Well how many people have gone out and bought the movie Hillary’s America? Before judgment is made against Donald Trump I suggest you go out and buy the DVD. That says a lot. Let’s go to the emails. She stands there and she lies and she lies and lies. Every one of these emails cannot possibly be a made up lie.

Will all these scandals involving the Clintons ever go away? Every day it gets worse. It’s unbelievable! I am convinced that Bill and Hillary both belong in jail, but no, she’s out beating the path campaigning for president. What happened to our beautiful country?

Where are Donald Trump’s tax returns? Why is this business genius so reluctant to let the rest of us know how he finagles his financial position? This guy is a loser. Remember, he lost one billion dollars. He’s the only businessman that failed with a casino. Give us a break!

The Clinton’s continue to mock Trump voters. Mainstream media colludes with the Clinton’s having no shame. Words can no longer describe the Clintons. Chelsea would be extremely smart to distance herself from them.
