The Tioga County Legislature announces a vacancy on the Tioga County Legislature for District #5, representing the Village of Waverly and surrounding areas in the Town of Barton. The Legislature will be following County of Tioga Local Law No. 3 of the year 1978 and will fill by appointment the open position on the Legislature.
All interested parties are encouraged to send a letter of interest and a resume to the Tioga County Legislature to be received no later than Friday, Jan. 15 at 3 p.m.

Following that, the Legislature will interview qualified parties and make the appointment to fulfill the unexpired term of three years, which expires on Dec. 31, 2018.
