On Thursday, Dec. 17, members of the Owego Police Department arrested Jay M. Perce, 38-years-old, no address available, on drug charges.
Owego Police officers were called to a residence on Paige Street in the Village of Owego for a suspicious condition. Upon further investigation officers located items consistent with the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
Jay M. Perce is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd Degree, a Class A-II Felony, and Unlawful Manufacturing Methamphetamine in the 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony.
Police were assisted by the New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team who respond to mitigate the hazard and collect evidence.
Jay M. Perce was arraigned in Village of Owego Court and remanded to the Tioga County Jail.
