The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a breakfast edition of “Bite-Sized Pursuits” on Thursday, Dec. 11, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Owego Treadway Inn. The seminar is Citizen Preparedness.
The American Red Cross, in partnership with the New York State Citizens Preparedness Corps, will present Prepare, Respond, Recover: What to Do When Disaster Strikes.
The program lasts about one hour and provides a comprehensive overview on how to prepare for natural and man-made disasters, and how to respond to and recover from them.
A light breakfast will be served and reservations are requested. The cost is $8 for chamber members and $10 for non-members. Contact the Tioga Chamber at (607) 687-2020 to register.
