On Aug. 2, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Newark Valley Historical Society will host Bow-Making Workshop at the Rollie Noble Room in the Municipal Building, located at 9 Park St. in Newark Valley.
The cost is $125 per participant, with a minimum age of 13. The workshop runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., so please bring a bag lunch. Tools and materials will be provided, but bringing your own woodworking tools, like drawknives, spokeshaves, rasps, etc., is encouraged.
