Register for Oakley Doakley Dash & Ramble Fundraiser!

The Tioga Arts Council is in need of runners and hikers to register for their Oakley Doakley Dash & Ramble Fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 24. 

This is a trail race through the scenic and enchanting trails of Oakley Corners State Forest with two distances options. Choose between the Dash, a 4-mile beginner friendly run/hike or the Ramble, a 10-miler that continues onto the more advanced trails.

Registration is limited to the first 150 participants. Registration will close on Friday, Aug. 23 at 10 p.m. There will be no race day registration. If you register and become unable to participate, bib transfers can be accommodated. They apologize, but no refunds will be granted.

They aim to make this race as eco-conscious as possible.  A limited supply of paper cups will be available at the aid stations and finish area, but please consider bringing a reusable cup or bottle. Absolutely no littering in any area!  

They have a fantastic after party planned for everyone. They are looking forward to rewarding the runners and volunteers for their hard work with a taco bar sponsored by The Owego Kitchen and beer by Water Street Brewing Co. And don’t forget, after the race, head to FarmHouse Brewery in Owego for a complimentary pour, and while you’re at it, you can check out some of the other things the cool town of Owego has to offer.

This is a great chance to get some exercise, enjoy a local state park, eat good food, and support the Tioga Arts Council. Register by Aug. 23 and join them.
