Sayre Rotary holds work bee at Guthrie Gardens

Sayre Rotary members are pictured during a work bee at Guthrie Gardens.

For the second time this year, members of Sayre Rotary held a work bee at the Guthrie Gardens as one of their many Community service projects. Weeds were pulled and dug, unused raised beds were dismantled and everyone had a great time “playing in the dirt”.

Guthrie Gardens is a Community based garden that provides vegetables and fruits to people right here in the community. Sayre Rotary members were very happy to be able to help out and look forward to another work bee.

Sayre Rotarians meet weekly on Tuesday at 12:10 p.m. at the Grille at the Station, 718 North Lehigh Ave. in Sayre. To learn more about Rotary and the local Sayre Rotary, you can visit www.Rotary.org, attend one of the weekly meetings, or Follow them on Facebook.
