The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 2019 Leadership Tioga program and welcome Jill Teeter as Program Facilitator.
“Jill is a 2011 graduate of Leadership Tioga, she was the administrator for the program last year and we are pleased to welcome her back this year as the Program Facilitator,” Gwen Kania, Chamber president and CEO stated.
“We are eager to see what her fresh perspective will bring,” she added.
Leadership Tioga is committed to inspiring and connecting participants to services in our community by promoting personal growth, leadership development, networking, and skill building. The Program offers one 2.5-hour morning class per month, beginning in January and ending in November.
Various class locations throughout the County will give participants the opportunity to learn more about what Tioga County has to offer. Dynamic speakers will discuss topics ranging from volunteerism, performance management, public safety, and human services, to name just a few.
Tuition for the 11-month certification program is $300, and $270 for those 60 and over. Tuition must be paid in full prior to the first class and is non-refundable. Registration deadline is Jan. 2, 2019; the first session will be held on Jan. 9 at the Belva Lockwood Inn, Owego.
