Visit the Black Cat Gallery on Saturday, Dec. 9, from 1 to 3 p.m. for a book-signing event by local author and bestseller, Olivia Stocum.

Olivia Stocum has published seven novels to date, all pure story, romance and adventure.

Olivia described her writing, stating, “I write historical and werewolf/vampire romance because growing up I’d always felt out of step, like I belonged in another world, or a different time and place. Today, I write about warriors and damsels, about the impossible. What if a man – or a woman – really could turn into a giant wolf? What would they do with that power? Use it for good, or for their own gain? Can a monster be redeemed? What if he saved the world? My romance novels are different. They have enough steam and action to keep any romantic adventurer turning the pages.”

Visit Olivia Stocum’s website at www.oliviastocum.com for more information.

The Black Cat Gallery supports the work of more than 40 artists in a charming retail store located in the heart of the Historic Village of Owego, and is located on 190 Front St.
