Tioga County Fair continues; Dash for Cash to take place tonight

The Tioga County Fair kicked off at noon on Wednesday with a ribbon cutting, several proclamations, and a visit by Senator Fred Akshar and a representative from Congressman Tom Reed’s office. Following the opening, the harness races kicked off the 151st Tioga County Fair in Owego.

Members from 4-H were already at the fair with their animals, and will continue their shows throughout the week.

Mister Tioga Contest, and the demolition derby offered action packed fun for guests. The next demolition derby is scheduled for Saturday evening.

A Battle of the Bands on Friday will bring musical talent to the fair at 7 p.m., along with the lumberjack show on Saturday, and the Dash for Cash taking place this evening at 7 p.m.
