Summer has arrived at the Black Cat GalleryIt’s July, and summer has arrived at the Black Cat Gallery. Check out their window on Front Street in Owego, with its summer hues, beach themes, and a giant metal heron.

Music at the Black Cat Gallery for July’s Art Walk, held on July 7, will be “The Off Beats” – the music of Marion Tewksbury, Melissa Moon and Gina Behil.

The “Off Beats” is an all female roots-retro-folk rock band, the musicians playing the djembe, Autoharp, and percussion with strong vocals and harmonies.

Don’t forget to pick up your passport and enjoy the Art Walk evening. Enjoy a fun night out, jam a little, and take in some great art and creative craft.

The featured artist for the month of July is Denise Tarbox, most known at the Black Cat Gallery for her soft, one of a kind hats and animal vessels.
