The second annual “Get Your Flea Fix on Route 96”, sponsored by the Candor Chamber of Commerce, will take place on Friday and Saturday, July 7 and 8, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
Everyone along Route 96 from Owego to Spencer, and on into West Danby and Route 96B up to Gridleyville Crossing Road in Candor is invited to participate.
The Candor Chamber of Commerce will post event information on the “Get Your Flea Fix on Route 96” Facebook Page and the Candor Chamber of Commerce website at www.candornychamber.org.
Maps will be made available at several locations on the days of the event, and the Chamber of Commerce will also be posting some signs along Route 96 during the event.
The Chamber of Commerce will have 1,000 maps printed. If your location is listed on the map and you would like to have copies to distribute at your sale, you can pick them up at Up the Creek Consignments in Owego and Bostwick Auctions in Catatonk. They will be available on July 6 from noon to 5 p.m. No maps can be distributed to the public before the morning of July 7 (at that time the map will also be posted on the Facebook page and website).
During the event, take photos of your sale and sent them, along with your location, to the Get Your Flea Fix on Route 96 Facebook page. They will approve and post your submissions all day long.
