The Owego Free Academy (OFA) Class of 1956 enjoyed their 60th Class Reunion last weekend. On Friday, Sept. 9, they gathered at the Parkview Hotel and Restaurant for a social time of reuniting with classmates and spouses.
On Saturday, Sept. 10, they had their banquet at the Loyal Order of the Moose. Fifty-one attended and enjoyed a delicious meal, and time spent catching up on things.
They attempted singing their school song with a tape made many years ago. They found out that their voices aren’t quite the same as before.
They had classmates come from Nevada, Texas, Wisconsin, Florida, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, and many from around New York.
A great time was had by all. Some of their classmates meet every month on the second Wednesday at noon at the Blue Dolphin for lunch. They would love for more classmates to join them.
