Tioga Downs welcomes famous motorcycle master to annual car and bike show

Tioga Downs is inviting all car and motorcycle enthusiasts to join them for a single day show Saturday, Sept. 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This year’s Car and Motorcycle Show features a celebrity appearance by motorcycle master and former reality television star Paul Teutul Jr.

Teutul will showcase some of his recent masterpieces and sign autographs from 1 to 3 p.m. The talented designer has been creating art out of steel since age 12 when he started apprenticing for his father’s steel business. Years later, he has turned a hobby he loves into a successful career creating world famous motorcycles and much more with the founding of his company Paul Jr. Designs in 2010.

Some of his creations were featured on the hit television series American Chopper, which aired on the Discovery Channel until its final episode in February 2010.

Admission is free for spectators, and those wishing to enter a car or motorcycle may do so for $15 from 9 a.m. until noon (no pre-registration). Voting lasts until 3 p.m. at a cost of $1 per vote. The top 20 cars will be recognized.

For motorcycles, five winners will be named in each of the five categories – rat bike, best display, antique and best of show. Proceeds benefit Christmas for Kids, an organization that provides holiday gifts for children.

Throughout the day, visitors can shop custom car and bike vendors, craft vendors and food trucks plus enjoy entertainment by Lando On Fire from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. on the main stage.
