Saturday also features a new music location at the Strawberry Fest, a sidewalk venue in front of the Early Owego Antique Center (EOAC) located on Lake Street. Music at Ahwaga Park

West End – Kick-starting the morning at Ahwaga Park is West End, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

West End is an acoustic ensemble merging the creative wizardries of Robert Siegers on banjo and Curt Osgood on the hammered dulcimer. Performing traditional melodies from the Old World as well as enduring 19th and 20th century Americana, Siegers and Osgood are anchored by versatile guitarist Jim MacWilliams.

The Kiil – From 1:30 to 3 p.m., The Kiil takes the Ahwaga Park stage. Members Mike’G Galus, Mike (DeMo) DeMichiei and Curtis Clinton will rock the house with their original tunes, along with classic rock, new rock, and alternative and dance music.

El Caminos – The El Caminos take the Ahwaga Park stage from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. With their roots firmly planted in the country-rock and Americana realm, elements of string, rock and roll and punk create a one-of-a-kind sound with guitars, bass, drums, and even a little mandolin. The El Caminos comprise of Chuck Donovan (Guitar, Vox); Armin Heurich (Guitar, Vox); George Kobas (Lead and Slide Guitar, Mandolin); Joe Grant (Drums); and John Saylor (bass).

Music at the Early Owego Antique Center

Saturday is host to a new music location at the Strawberry Fest, a sidewalk venue in front of the Early Owego Antique Center (EOAC) located on Lake Street.

Acoustic Brew – Acoustic Brew, one of Owego’s favorite “blues duos,” is Dave “Jed” Kittle on rhythm guitar and vocals and Marv Williams playing lead guitar and vocals. Combining talents, along with Marv’s self-described acoustic finger-style blues and folk, the duo will also feature a little bit of rock and southern rock. Catch Acoustic Brew from noon until 1:30 p.m.

Daphne Braden – Singer and guitarist, Daphne Braden, will perform several musical styles and hits ranging from pop, rock, jazz, blues, country and classical. Strawberry Fest guests will also enjoy Braden’s “variety show” atmosphere, where she asks the audience to have fun singing along. Catch Daphne’s show from 2 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
