Owego Little League’s (OLL’s) inaugural “Fan Appreciation Day” will be held on Sunday, June 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Hyde Park.
OLL VP-Baseball Steve Terry will recognize sponsors and volunteers. Also invited to come and enjoy a day at the ballpark are all volunteers past and present.
Fan Appreciation Day includes a Home Run Derby for all age groups, and plenty of fun activities. Who throws the best fastball in Owego? A radar gun will display the speed. Concession items will be reduced.
Softball VP Dave York says softball tournament play is coming up for the 2016 Softball All Stars.

The 12U will take place Monday, June 27 through Sunday, July 10, with no games on Independence Day on Monday, July 4; and the 10U will take place from Monday, July 11 through Sunday, July 24.
