OLL News Brief

OLL News BriefHere’s Owego Little League (OLL) VP-Baseball Steve Terry’s report on Pitch Hit Run, Regular Season Half Way and Fan Appreciation Day.

The pitch hit and run went well this year. There were more participants this year than last year at the Owego qualifier. They had 12 players move to the Binghamton Regional Qualifier.

There were three Owego players that placed in the regional qualifier. Sarah Terry finished second for girls age nine to 10, Joshua Terry finished third for boys age 13 to 14 and Talan Schumacher finished first in the nine to 10 year old boys group.

Tolan had the chance to move on to the state qualifier if his score was high enough to bet out other regional winners in New York State.

OLL is half way through the season and things are going well. It is hoped that the weather only gets better and the season can finish without many weather delays.
