Guthrie will host ceremonies of remembrance on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30 at each of its hospitals.
The ceremonies will begin at 2:30 p.m. and will be hosted by hospital chaplains. Locations are as follows: Guthrie Towanda Memorial Hospital, 91 Hospital Dr., Towanda, Pa. – inside the main entrance in the glass walkway near the Atrium; Guthrie Troy Community Hospital, 275 Guthrie Dr., Troy, Pa. – in the main hallway adjacent to the main entrance; Guthrie Corning Hospital, 1 Guthrie Dr., Corning, N.Y. – in the cafeteria adjacent to the main lobby; and Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital and The Guthrie Clinic, 1 Guthrie Square, Sayre, Pa. – in the lobby area outside of the hospital cafeteria.
The ceremony in Sayre will be followed with playing of Taps outside the hospital on the side facing Howard Elmer Park at 3 p.m. This will coincide with the national moment of remembrance.
