Downtown Owego will once again be the location for the annual Bike Night event beginning on May 25 and taking place weekly until Aug. 31, from 6 to 9 p.m. Located along Front Street at Owego’s Parkview Hotel, motorcycles will line the streets, and live entertainment will be provided each Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Bike Night is also welcoming Allstate’s Lounsbury Agency and Southern Tier Harley Davidson as sponsors for the event. Because of their support, and support from area businesses, this free, weekly event is made possible. The Owego Pennysaver is also serving as a sponsor for this event.

The lineup of entertainment for this year is as follows: May 25 – Tim Ruffo Band, June 1 – Hummel’s Jug, June 8 – L’Ectric Brew, June 15 – LoveBone (featuring Jeff Howell), June 22 – String of Pearls (evening sponsored by Southern Tier Harley Davidson), June 29 – Phillips Head, July 6 – Woodshed Prophets, July 13 – The Kiil, July 20 – The Lone Ryderz Band, July 27 – Spelunkers, Aug. 3 – Wreckless Marci, Aug. 10 – Smokin’ Crows, Aug. 17 – Bendher, Aug. 24 – Iron Horse, and Aug. 31 – LoveBone (featuring Jeff Howell).

All are welcome to Bike Night; you don’t need to have a motorcycle to attend the event. Residents are always welcome to come downtown for the night and view the motorcycles, listen to the music, and learn about products and services offered by the event sponsors.

Bike Night at The Owego Parkview maintains a Facebook Page. At that site, you can find more information about upcoming bands and videos of performances.
