The annual fundraiser for Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tioga County Family Resource Center is scheduled for May 7. This year’s theme is “Touch A Truck”. The event will take place at Health and Human Services Building parking lot (across from Tioga County Sheriff) at 1062 Route 38, Owego, N.Y. from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $5 per person or $20 maximum for a household, and ages under two are free.
If you have a vehicle to participate, contact the number listed below. You can also sponsor a family who otherwise could not afford to attend.
The organizers are also looking for monetary donations to support their programs, and donations of water, snacks, pizza, napkins, plates and cups for the day of the event. Volunteers can also donate their time.
The vision of the Family Resource Centers of Tioga County is that all children will be raised in nurturing and resilient families within safe and supportive communities.
