The Candor Historical Society will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, April 27, at 7 p.m. at the Candor Town Hall. The program for the evening will be a presentation by Connie Fedorowicz on the history of Weltonville.
In 2009 Fedorowicz gave a talk at a Society meeting covering Weltonville history from its settlement up to that year. She covered land ownership, businesses, activities and residents over that period of time. Over the last seven years many changes have taken place in the Weltonville area and Fedorowicz will be giving an update on what those changes have meant to the history of that small but active community.
The meetings are free and open to the public. Refreshments are served after the program as attendees enjoy a time to visit with each other.
