Tioga County Clerk Andrea Klett warns Tioga County residents to beware of a mail scam that attempts to get property owners to pay $80.00 or more for a copy of “Your Current Grant Deed” and “Property Assessment Profile”.
The County Clerk’s Office wants all property owners to know that a copy of their deed for land within Tioga County can be obtained from the Clerk’s Office for 65 cents per page. An additional fee of $5.00 is charged if you need or want a Certified Copy of your deed.
