Coughlin & Gerhart, LLP is pleased to welcome Wilbur “Bud” Dahlgren as Of Counsel effective April 1.
Dahlgren joins Coughlin & Gerhart, LLP after 30-plus years as an attorney. He has worked most recently with the firm of Giangrieco Law, PC in Montrose, Pa., and prior to that headed the Estates and Trusts Department at Hinman, Howard and Kattell, LLP in Binghamton. His practice areas include wills and trusts, estate planning and administration, elder law, LLC and partnership planning, income taxation and tax-exempt organizations and gas, oil and mineral rights planning.
Dahlgren is licensed to practice law in New York, Pennsylvania and Florida. He is a member of New York State Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Florida State Bar Association, the Susquehanna County Bar Association, and the New York State Bar Association Trusts and Estates Law Section and the Elder Law Section. He frequently speaks at community organizations, local businesses, and the State Bar on topics such as estate planning, long-term medical care planning, elder law, oil and gas planning, planned giving, and changes in the tax law.
